Char Read is a professional photographer and artist based in New York. Their first camera was a tiny red digicam from their grandmother and they've kept collecting them ever since. They have been taking photos and drawing since they can remember, all of their clothes have the paint stains to prove it.

 

They specialize in concert photography and enjoy playing with light. Currently, their day job is children's portrait photography, not featured in their portfolio for privacy. They would love to do more portrait photography outside of their main job.  

 

Enjoying many kinds of art, they mainly focus on portraits of people or animals but are always open to something new. Amongst just normal art commissions, they also provide tattoo art commissions and concert posters. They mainly work with digital art, inks, charcoals, and paints.

When not turning their hobbies into monetary opportunities, you can find Char looking for Halloween things in the store in May, petting their various animals, and getting kicked in the nose at hardcore shows.
